Growing fruit and vegetables also provides you with a link to the future and gives you something to look forward to. You clear your ground, sow your seeds, weed and water and, in time, your efforts pay off. You have to wait for your reward but it’s worth it, both for the wonderful fresh food and for the sense of satisfaction and achievement you can gain;

I currently have a vegetable garden where I grow raspberry, gooseberries, current, blubbery bushes and so much more.

 

There are variety of fruit trees and grape vines that are in my backyard. I wish that this particular real estate in Nova Scotia is bought by someone as appreciative and concerned for the environment as the current owners are. 

 

Just last year they put up a green house. I have never seen such bountiful crop of vegetables as they had.

 

They were eating lettuce, green beans and yellow beans, radishes peas long before any of us even planted our gardens. Cucumbers and tomatoes were growing in their green house long after our crops in gardens were keeled by frost.   Now is February and I see them collecting romaine lettuce. That is amazing. The gardens are one thing. But if you or someone in your family loves farm animals then there is a room for them too. There is a barn and a horse corral. If you have offers, follow up and continue to push the sale. Annoy the crap out of the sale for a buy asap.
You are dealing with the biggest crime organizations on the planet, BANKS. To the banks, short sales are considered stealing from the banks and the banks have tried to press criminal charges on respectful buyers in the past. Stay away from the brokers, they are the next in line of bs. In the past 10 years the rules have changed and changed, for the better of the banks.
Banks have and will try to scare the owners of the homes that they have the final say in the sales and this is the best kept scare tactic the banks have. They will use local Police, Sheriffs, Constables and good Government BS to make the sales in their favor.
If this is your first time, you will never forget it and you will learn what not to do if their is a second time and so on. Banks make Billions a year for the knowledge they have, Investigate for yourself and watch the banks cringe when you show up to a short sale, beating them at their own game. It's alot of fun too.

Until a home has gone into multiple listings, a realtor is not required to release any for sale information. I bought my house before it went on the market.

Realtors aren't parasites, they earn their living.

You should probably look for a reputable realtor.

Bear in mind that the "For Sale By Owner" people are not trying to save YOU money. They are trying to save THEMSELVES money by avoiding the real estate agent's commission.

Commercial properties can be complicated. You may need an environmental study and other information to obtain a mortgage. If you have never bought commercial property before, you may spend a lot of time and money trying to get everything right, and you will probably need an attorney — who may cost you a good part of what you hope to save by avoiding a realtor's commission.

Go to the county tax office and inquire. I think they do the tax sale only once in a year. There are too much ramifications on this kind of transaction. You don't know the problems inside the house. You don't know who are in-line for ownership of the house. Check the library for more information on the system. Someone might have donated a copy of Beck's system to the library for finding out that it's not workable in all states/counties. Good Luck
